OUR INK SYSTEM

All our inks are HP Latex eco-friendly water-based, which means they are non-toxic and very low in VOCs (volatile organic compounds). HP latex inks are free from Cadmium, Chromium, Mercury, Lead (tested to >0.2ppm) or Formaldehyde.



Ink and Consumable waste

We are proud members of HP Planet Partners which operates in 68 countries and territories worldwide.

There program started back in 1991 and is the #1 printer supplies recycling program in the industry.

Over 4.2 Billion original HP Ink and toner cartridges contain recycled materials, 80% of HP ink cartridges and 100% of

HP toner cartridges are manufactured with recycled content.

Cartridges recycled through the HP Planet Partners scheme would current circle the earth 3.3 times.

This doesn’t just include recycled cartridges; HP parts are also made from recycled ocean bound plastics.

Paper waste

All offcuts, packaging, documents and damaged wallpaper are recycled by our partner S&D Waste . The waste is mixed into the lowest grade of paper for recycling. It is re-baled into Mill size bales with similar paper products before being shipped to one of our approved mills – all loads are fully documented to meet all UK & EU legislation.

Any pieces lost during the processing at S&D which cannot be baled goes into to our general waste. Our General Waste contractor (Wheeldon Brothers) use additional sortation & waste to energy to reduce our landfill by 98% (as an average based on monthly reports).
